Environment: Firefox 56, Automation Addon ff4

Hi, I am facing a problem where for a window that is already open (i have already closed all other firefox windows), automate is not able to create a new browser session based on the Window Title.

There are no other windows with the same title open. This create new session action works on IE, but not with firefox. However, using IE is not an option as the business application is not stable in IE, but stable in Chrome and Firefox. Chrome however does not have AutoMate support.

Can I confirm if anyone faces similar issues or is there a workaround?

Hello,

Is there steps and a site that we can use to reproduce this issue?

Sorry for the delay. The site is the web interface of an internal application which is not publicly accessible. To view this, I would need to share my screen with your engineers.

At the last step is when the error occurs. I need to create a new browser session as the application will automatically open up in a new window - which will be the primary working window. Therefore the original browser window and session has to be closed as the FF add in only supports one window being opened at a time for automation.

Hello,

I think it might be best to work with you directly with the site in question. Would it be possible to set-up a GoToAssist session where we can take a closer look at this issue? If this is possible please send an email over to AutoMate.Support@helpsystems.com with a list of your availability.

Note: Please reference this forum thread in your email.
