Add the ability when sending an email as part of a workflow to add a hyperlink that would fire off an action or task as part of the tap or clicking on the link. Similar to SCOM where you click or tap on an action link and it fires off something without requiring you to navigate to the console (in Automate's case the Ops Console) but simply fire off an activity. Example: Send an email to all employees with a business card request link, if the user clicks or taps the link an Automate workflow fires off adding the users information to a SQL database or SharePoint list. Another option as a workaround is to reply to the email with a specific text to a specific mailbox, but still this would be a bit more user friendly. |
