I have a variable that has 3 periods as delimiters, such as
egdmeu.xyzprd.sto123f.abc12345

I need to parse each part into separate variables based on the delimiter.

Hi Jerry,

You can use the Split function to separate a string of text by a deliminator you specify.

Using you sample string, egdmeu.xyzprd.sto123f.abc12345, you would use %Split(varText, ".")(0)% to get the first segment of text before the period. The split command breaks down as follows.
Split(text to be split, "deliminator")(segment after the first deliminator)
