Automate 11.0.0.43 on Win10-64 What does it mean when a scheduled task runs "successfully" (no error on step ##) but is displayed as red. I am used to seeing successfully completed tasks in black. |

Hello Sam,
This may be an issue that needs to be address. May you please share the step or task that is causing this red successful message? ------------------------- Mary Manzano | Technical Consultant AutoMate | Division of HelpSystems HelpSystems, LLC | T: +1.213.738.1700 | F: +1.213.738.7665 |

Hi Mary, Thank you. I have a couple of light tasks running tomorrow morning so let's see if those give the same results. The only thing I can say that is common, the last task is Log Off Computer. And before that, I wait 10 seconds so to give cleaning up a chance to finish. Sam |

Sam,
Where are you seeing the red highlight? Is it in Task Administrator? Did you see the same result this morning? ------------------------- ![]() Leonard Amabile | Director, Cross Platform Support AutoMate | InterMapper | Skybot | Divisions of HelpSystems T: +1.213.738.1700 | F: +1.213.738.7665 |

Unfortunately, all of the tasks errored out with ": No windows matched the requested set of criteria." And what I discovered is the Disable Windows Foreground box was unchecked when I know I checked it.

Hi Sam,
Would it be possible to set-up a remote support session where we can take a closer look at this issue? If this is possible please send an email over to AutoMate.Support@helpsystems.com with a list of your availability. Also please verify the Operating System of the machine in question and it's bit level, as well as the version and bit level of the AutoMate software. Note: Please reference this forum thread in your email. ------------------------- ![]() Justin Aucoin | Support Analyst AutoMate | Division of HelpSystems HelpSystems, LLC | T: +1.213.738.1700 | F: +1.213.738.7665 |

Sorry for the late response...well actually, because I had an issue with 11 and had to revert back to 10. Now that the bug has been fixed, I am back to using/testing 11.
The above behavior still occurs. The task will end with a red icon which indicates something went wrong. But nothing went wrong. To prove my point, I deactivated the very last step which to log off the computer. The task ended in blue. So obviously, the step to log off the computer is causing the red icon condition. It doesn't even indicate which step number caused the "error". I am not sure if this is a bug since I never had this issue in 10. But I would like each task to end with a log off. Are there any other steps I can take? Thanks! Sam |

Hi Sam,
We have been able to reproduce the issue internally and have documented it for correction: 23909 - COMPUTER (LOG OFF): AMTA shows task aborted and red for v11 but is successful for v10 ------------------------- ![]() Leonard Amabile | Director, Cross Platform Support AutoMate | InterMapper | Skybot | Divisions of HelpSystems T: +1.213.738.1700 | F: +1.213.738.7665 |

I receive this error as well. Basically I have dozens of tasks that query a SQL database, and then insert the query data into an OpenDocument spreadsheet. I do a conditional check on the SQL query results to see if there are any rows, if not, the loop ends and the task ends. In AutoMate 10, the status of the task would be successful. In AutoMate 11, the status appears as Aborted. We are using AutoMate Premium 11.0.2.22.

Hello Timothy,
Is it possible to send us a copy of your task so we may replicate the setup in case its some kind of bug? If sending the actual task is not possible, is it possible to send us a template showing the issue? Please send to automate.support@helpsystems.com and reference this thread. We will then be able to continue troubleshooting further. thanks. ------------------------- ![]() Alex Escalante | Support Analyst AutoMate | Division of HelpSystems HelpSystems, LLC | T: +1.213.738.1700 | F: +1.213.738.7665 |
