Hi,

how could I disable the mailing for 'on task error' automatically?

On version 9 and 10 we deleted the entry in the registry, with a script.
This was done for 'Service Windows'. After the 'Service Windows' we rewrite the old entry's to the registry.

On version 11, could we change the TaskService.config.xml with a script?

Matthias,
In Task Administrator go to 'Options/Default Properties/On Task Error' and change the setting there. Each Task itself also has a similar section, so one can just add it to specific tasks.

This option i know.
I want to dissable this option for all tasks for a specific time (10 hours).
In this timeframe are the Domanin Controllers or the network connection to this servers down.
If this happen we will get an mail (Step -1) logon not possible (check passord (domain controller not reachabel)
In this constellation we will get 200 mails from each server who runs automate. And we have 20 automate servers running.

For this case we want to delete the entry in the TaskService.config.xml. Is this possible or not???

Hello Matthias,

It is not recommended to have a task edit this XML.

It is best to set time exclusions within the trigger to accomplish your goals.

Thats really strange.
Add exclusions on 20 servers for each task. On each server are 80 to 100 Tasks. This is very hard to add all exclusions.
What is with the event triggers? Like file added or service stopps? For this i couldn't set a time exclusion.

Attached you will find my actual task on Automate10 and also the timeframes for the serviceWindow as .CSV.

Hello Matthias,

Yes, time exclusions only pertain to schedule triggers currently.

However, you can set a workflow exclusion to have the workflow essentially be disabled for your timeframe. This would occur regardless of what condition or trigger is configured within the workflow.
