I have questions about installing BPA Server and configuring the environment.

I want to use two BPA servers, one for the main and the other for the stand-by.

In other words, I want to configure the environment like the image on the homepage.

Please refer to image of the attached file.

It is hard to find any information related to it even if I search it from the help or homepage.

What I want to know is how to configure two BPA Server to connect to one SQL Server rather than the Agent's configuration (editing regist).

Heehang,

Both servers need to be pointing to the same database in an agent failover scenario as what is outlined in the image you have attached. If you are looking for a full site DR scenario, then the servers can share the same database or the database can be mirrored and the agents will need to be configured at both sites so that mapping is valid should a switch over to the DR site occurs.

Hi HeehangSeo,

We have this fully working at multiple customers in an Active-Active setup and are able to sell you the tasks and DB changes that are needed to support the setup.

Regards,

Benjamin

HeehangSeo, the documentation for this configuration is in the online help, but you have to know to search for it under its page name "Failover".

Best regards, John
