All tasks were giving this error while another task was running.
When that one finished, I could manually start the workflows again.

We have so many issues with 11, we need a stable and reliable version.

Hello Edward,

What were the logon settings of that workflow?

Does that workflow run in the background or as logged on user?

Does that workflow have any priorities set to it?

Hi Edward,

Please export the task from the repository and either attached the .ampkg file in your reply or send it to automate.support@helpsystems.com and reference this forum thread. We need to review the entire properties of the task.

Hello Edward,

I see that you are using "Map Drive" actions, those types of actions require the task to run as a logged on user and you must logon or unlock the machine when locked or logged off.

Rather than use the drive letter are you able to use the Full UNC path?

What does the Run action (step 15) do exactly?

Hello Ricardo, Leonard,

The task I mentioned is just an example, At this moment I again get a number of mails with the same issue but different tasks:

A workflow has failed.

Workflow Name: Daily Sirius Switch-to Check Date/Time Of Failure: 10/11/2017 10:59:00 AM

Error Text:
Fatal execution exception: Access to the path 'Global\BPA11SuspendAllTasks' is denied. (Step -1 in function )

This report is to inform you that an AutoMate Task step has failed to execute properly:

Task name: Daily Check on Sirius bookings on converted products
Function:
Step number: -1
Time of error: 10/11/2017 11:00:11 AM
Error message: Fatal execution exception: Access to the path 'Global\BPA11SuspendAllTasks' is denied.
Computer name: GGCAUTOMATE

A workflow has failed.

Workflow Name: Daily SFTP M-Files bestanden DIV voor spider Date/Time Of Failure: 10/11/2017 10:55:29 AM

Error Text:
Fatal execution exception: Access to the path 'Global\BPA11SuspendAllTasks' is denied. (Step -1 in function )

A workflow has failed.

Workflow Name: Daily Check every 6 minutes M-Files pending Date/Time Of Failure: 10/11/2017 10:55:26 AM

Error Text:
Fatal execution exception: Access to the path 'Global\BPA11SuspendAllTasks' is denied. (Step -1 in function )

The moment I am getting these mails, I am running a task manually which is compressing a large number of files.
The time I created this incident the same thing was happening: a task was running manually and the other workflows all give this error.

Hi Edward,

To better assist with this issue, please answer the questions below.
What specific release of Automate Enterprise 11 are you using, 11.0.0.43 or 11.0.1.17? Did you perform a datastore migration, import workflows, or create all new workflows?
If using 11.0.1.17, was this installation updated from 11.0.0.43?

Hello Justin,

11.0.1.17
I used DatastoreMigrationUtility.exe
I did not use 11.0.0.43, we went directly to 11.0.1.17

That is bug number six for me, and one still under investigation.

What is the planning for the next update?
