Hi,

I've replicated this action across three separate o365 tenants and am about to test against on prem.

Using the Get Files command from the SharePoint section, targetted at any document library fails with this output:

SharePoint failed (Error : Column "VirusStatus" already exists

Command is simple with nothing added:

<AMSHAREPOINT ACTIVITY="get_files" AM_RETRY="3" AM_RETRYDELAY="500" AM_ONERROR="CONTINUE" SESSION="SharePointSession1" LIBRARY="%strDocLib%" RESULTDATASET="datsetFilesFromSPLib" QUERY=""></AMSHAREPOINT>

Can someone advise if there is a workaround since we have a customer keen to get audit information from document libraries on a SharePoint site.

Thanks

Hi Geoff,

This is a known issue, bug#22950, caused by a change made by Microsoft to Sharepoint. The issue is caused by a pair of hidden tables, VirusStatus and _VirusStatus. This is leading Automate to see them as having the same name. We do not have a workaround available at this time. However we will add this thread to the bug report so that we can notify you once a fix or workaround is available.

Many thanks for replying.

And yes, tried the same on prem for SP 2010 and 2013 and the same issue occurs there, so pretty much Get Files is foobar and pretty much useless

I really hope there is a fix soon. Its the most fundamental and important command required for migration, enumeration, auditing and a lot more. To get around this I've had to resort to powershell which defeats the purpose of the SharePoint module in Automate, simply because powershell could be used for virtually all the commands - its clunky but works!

Is the mechanism to track this bug at all so I can get an idea when a fix would be implemented?

BUMP. Its been a year now, and no indication whether this has been fixed. Its certainly not addressed in the latest version either, we still cannot access any list using the SP o365 connector - please advise.

Hi,

Thanks for getting back. I've relayed back to the client explaining that after a year of no fix which as you can imagine did not go down well at all. They are a massive Office 365 client and its imperative that the RPA product they go with supports Office 365 - clearly this fault means that Automate does not, despite it listing that it does. Extremely disappointing, and being a partner of Automate as well didn't help. The client has decided to go with another RPA tool that does support Office365.

I'll contact the sales coordinator for Automate our end to explain.

Cheers

G
