Hi All

I am looking to setup new users/user groups on Automate 11 and want them to be able to access the reporting section

I've checked on the website and no helpful guides explaining what each does or setting these up

Does anyone have any ideas if its possible or how we amend the groups/security access to allow users to access reporting?

Thanks

Hello,

You will need to complete the following (logged in as the administrator user)

1. Create the user in the Users tab
2. Select Options
3. Select System Security
4. Select the User(s)
5. Add the User
6. Give the user Permissions
7. Select Apply

Hi All

I am still looking into the above
When giving the user permissions to view report. I log off as admin, log on as user and then get the error message: -

You do not have rights to view this section

In the security section, i have added permission for the user but still unable to access this section

Is it something i am missing?

Thanks

Hello,

When you are giving permission, are you logged in as the administrator user or another user with administrator rights?

Make sure you are logged in as an administrator when making changes.

Hello,

We would like to take a closer look at this issue, would it be possible to set-up a GoToAssist session where we can take a closer look at this issue? If this is possible please send an email over to AutoMate.Support@helpsystems.com with a list of your availability.

Note: Please reference this forum thread in your email.
