Hi, is there any issue regarding the Logon/Unlock feature in the latest v11 on Windows 7 and 10?
Someone had a problem with that?

Hello,

Issues have been very specific (meaning not everyone is running into an issue), are you running into an issue with the Logon/Unlock sequence?

Actually, another client had problems with their tests. In this new client that I am now, we use V10, but they intend to upgrade soon. Knowing that there's a possible error, I just wanted to be aware and prepared if there was an known issue and already an workaround for it.
Anyway, thanks for the reply, I'll update this thread when we try it

I would strongly advice to stay on version 10.
Version 11 has one year after release still many issues and every update makes it worse.

1. SQL time out does not work in 11 (bug #23276)

2. Left() function returns incorrect result, it omits leading zeros (bug 23268).

3. "replace the occurrence of [0-9]+ with nothing" turns 008803188CDR into 88CDR (bug 23254)

4. %GetTaskName% returns an incorrect name when running a task manually (bug 23062)

5. A 'complex if statement' with single quotes doesn't work in 11 anymore: %(vStatusCompleted = '' or vStatusCompleted ='FAILURE' and vStandardOutput = '')% Bug 23241

6. This query in 11 gives an 'invalid object', in 10 it works fine:
update OAS_IncomingDocuments
set PolicyCreated = 'Y'
where ID = '{C77DB4EF-D343-4A55-9A54-622E14364138}'

7. Running a task gives a missing end loop, while the end loop is really there (CAS-0010061980)

8. Logging out from the server on which Automate is running, I get a great number of mails complaining that the UI is no longer available

9. Many times a day the message "The process cannot access the file because another process has locked a portion of the file.", also started with 11.

In my opion 2017 was a lost year for Automate, 10 worked okay and 11 only brought issues.

I would suggest that you email in the issues that do not have bug numbers. As you know we keep each issue separate and we will be able to reproduce the issue (ask questions if needed) and add a bug into the db.
