In the On Error tab of an action, there is an option to Retry the step and to Execute the following error actions:.

If I have the Retry the step option set to any number, say 5 for example, when is the 'Execute the following error actions' executed? If, for example, I set a boolean variable to 1 if a task action fails - does that variable get set only after the 5th retry has been attempted? Or does it get set on any retry attempt?

Hi James,

The Execute the following error actions are processed when the step finally fails. So if you have the task set to retry 5 times, the actions listed there will not be processed until the 5th attempt fails. Should the task be success on one of the retries, then those specified actions will not run.
