Hi All

Is it possible to install the latest version of Automate on one server and then have an agent running on a separate server which is of a previous version?

We have a DMZ server which has its own agent which is connected to our production server. The agent runs version 11.0.2.22, currently the same as the version on our production server

Looking to upgrade our server version to 11.0.6 and maybe leave the agent on the DMZ to 11.0.2.22 while we confirm there are no issues with the new version

Is this possible?

Thanks

Hello IT,

Unfortunately that is not possible. This will not only cause issues with task execution/reporting, but could cause damage to the execution server itself.

It is recommended to run all components on the same versions.
