Hello,

I have a process that runs every 20 minutes that starts at 8am every day,and runs until 3pm, this workflow will check if a direcetory has 18 files. If the count equals 18 files, it will proceed to the next task and then start the unzipping process and eventually upload to an FTP server.

After the upload process has successfully finished, I would like to stop this process from running until the next day at 8am.

I simply want to prevent the workflow from processing until the next day. How can something like this be preformed.

Thank you very much for you assistance.

Jason

Hi Jason,

Unfortunately, there isn't functionality within BPA to adjust the next launch time for the schedule trigger. However, you can adjust your workflow slightly so that when the 18 files have been completed you would leave a file marker that the workflow checks for first before checking for the 18 files. If the file marker is there, then the workflow stops. I would recommend leaving a file marker with today's date so that workflow is dynamic going forward with leaving the file and checking the file.

The file marker worked great.

Thanks!
