I am getting the below error while trying to download using FTPS. I can download the file using filezilla just fine.
Response: 425-Server requires protected data connection. Response: 425 Can't open data connection. Session Log: Response: 220-FTPD1 IBM FTP CS V1R11 at xxxxxx, 20:03:21 on 2012-07-17. Response: 220 Connection will close if idle for more than 5 minutes. Command : AUTH TLS Response: 234 Security environment established - ready for negotiation Command : USER ****** Response: 331 Send password please. Command : PASS *** Response: 230 ****** is logged on. Working directory is "******.". Command : FEAT Response: 211- Extensions supported Response: AUTH TLS Response: PBSZ Response: PROT Response: 211 End Command : RETR xxxxxxx.ZIP Response: 425-Server requires protected data connection. Response: 425 Can't open data connection. Command : QUIT Response: 221 Quit command received. Goodbye.

Hi Kunal,
Thank you for your post. In the FTP Log On step, under the Advanced tab, do you have the "encrypt data channel" option checked? If not, please check this box and try to connect.

Are you able to connect from a third party FTP tool like Filezilla? If you add a check for "Compatibility Mode" does that allow you to connect?

Filezilla works. It does not work under compatibility mode.

Thank you for your post. We will need to take a look at your task. Please export the task from the SMC and send it to support@networkautomation.com. This will allow us to better trouble shoot the FTPS issue for you.
