I have a problem I schedule my task to run every day at 9:45 AM every day and by the end of the task, it will send out email to our team. However, once a while, we receive email twice at the same time 9:45 AM. My assumption that the task ran twice. I try to investigate it but couldn't find any problem. I check the task, schedule, and also run report but I don't see the task run twice. Any advised?
Thank you Vincent

Hi Vincent,
Thank you for your post. Are there any other triggers or conditions associated with this workflow? If you look in the Execution Events section of the Reports in the SMC, is the entire workflow running twice or just the task inside the workflow that sends out this email?

Hi Liz,
Thank you for your reply. Yes, there are triggers or condition that associated with this workflow. It happens once a while like 4,5 months. The problem is other tasks that send out email didn't have any problem like this task. I tried to create a new task but it happens again once a while after couple months. The only thing difference was I remote to the server today by using RDP to do some work and log into BPA Console and log out while my coworker RDP at the same time. Here is my report. AUTHL WorkFlow 12/27/2012 9:45:00 AM 12/27/2012 9:45:38 AM 37.6103378 Success Workflow 'AUTHL' completed successfully. AUTHLetter Trigger 12/27/2012 9:45:00 AM 12/27/2012 9:45:00 AM 0 Success AUTHLetter Task 12/27/2012 9:45:00 AM 12/27/2012 9:45:38 AM 37.266579 PALPATINE Success Task 'AUTHLetter' running on agent 'PALPATINE' completed successfully.

Hi Vincent,
What exact triggers or conditions are associated with the workflow?

Hi Vincent,
In order to find out what is associated to the task in question please complete the following. 1. Open the SMC 2. Select Repository 3. Select Task 4. Find the Task in question and Right Click and Select Properties 5. Select Details 6. Scroll down and you will find a listing of Workflows that contain this Task. Note: This can also be done at the Workflow and Conditions level.

Hi Ricardo,
I followed your instruction and it is not assoiciated with any Workflow. However, when I checked at Workflow, it is linked to Task and Condition

Hi Vincent,
You mentioned that you created the task a second time? Just to be clear did you create a new workflow and reference the same task or was it the task that was recreated?
