Hi, I've automate installed (7.1.10 with hotfix). I have created a PGP ZIP (*.pgp). this zip contains multiple files and folders. When I try to decrypt it through automate, it does not work. Because Automate is asking for destination (decrypted) file name. For the same reason, single file PGP ZIP works. Any idead how to decrypt PGP encrypted files if they have multiple files and folders inside. Thank you

AbbasS,
I tried to look into how PGP Desktop does this. From what I read, it seemd like that they make a Zip archive and then encrypt, so all you have to do is Decrypt and then unzip. I have not tested this, but from what I read seems to be the order of steps to take, so just for outputfile use anyName.zip and then unzip that file. Please let me know if this did not solve your issue.

Thanks Hamid, You rock! what you said is absolutely right. I gave destination *.zip and it worked! Thank you very much.

to extract the zip using automate, you have to use 'tar' as the 'Compression Type'

AbbasS,
I am glad that it was an easy fix and also thanks for reporting this back on the forums so others can benefit from this. Thank you again.

Thanks for this post. I was looking to create a single PGP file that contained multiple files/folders. I knew PGP Desktop could do this but I needed to be able to script it.
The solution of creating a TAR file then PGP encrypting the TAR file works perfectly. The resulting PGP file can be opened directly in PGP Desktop an individual files can be extracted, just as if the file was created using PGP Desktop from the start. Thanks
