I'm heading out to the office with the BPA Server on it and I am thinking of upgrading from 7.1.2 to 7.1.3 or going all the way to 8.  I've had significant enough issues that I think an upgrade of some sort is warranted.  I have to reset the server a little more often than I would like to.

So, what would you guys recommend since you have actually worked with the newer products.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks!

Danny

Hi Danny,

Automate and BPA are designed to run side by side with each major version release. You can install BPA8 on the same machine and still continue using BPA7 until you are comfortable migrating over. I would suggest migrating to BPA8 rather than upgrade your existing BPA7 installation to v7.1.3 since BPA8 will have those same fixes and more.

Is there a feature comparison somewhere between BPA Server 7 features and BPA Server8 features?  I want to be able to show the powers that be what we get for upgrading and I couldn't find anything on the web site comparing the two.

Please let me know.

Thanks!

Danny

Never mind.  I found it.  Obviously, I didn't look close enough.

Thanks!

Danny
