Answer:
After meeting Danny in a GoToAssist session we were able to resolve the issue by completing the following.

1. In the HotKey Trigger we removed the check for the option "Allow hotkey to continue to the application".

We have a new machine that is our first Windows 7 machine in the office where we are using BPA Server.  All client machines have BPA Agen 7.1.3 loaded on them.  The XP clients work fine, but the Windows 7 box won't allow the task to fire off for some reason.  I have the blue A and everything and it is showing that it is connected to the server.

Got any ideas what is keeping Windows 7 from working?

Your assistance is greatly appreciated!

Danny

Hi Danny,

Is this a scenario where the agents on the Windows 7 workstations are not unlocking or logging on? Are you connected to the Windows 7 workstations through remote desktop when executing the workflows?

It's logging onto the server and I am running it on the local machine, no remote desktop or anything.  It shows that it is connected to the server and shows the server name.

The workflow is supposed to fire off with a Ctrl-Shift-W.  It is a task that collects data from a windows application we developed and uses that data to automatically retrieve data using a web interface.  The A never turns green for even a split second to acknowledge that it is trying to start.

I also checked the event viewer and I'm not getting any strange error messages indicating what might be going on.

Any suggestions?
