When AutoMate is set to use a background user account it doesn't seem to execute the encryption steps correctly. When it runs the encryption it looks like it's using a PubKey that isn't on the Background Users keychain. Has anyone seen an issue like this before?

Brendan,
I know we did not have OpenPGP in version 7 release but I can't remember when we added it, but in either case, the keyring locations are paths and it depends how you enter them and it has to do more with logic used since AutoMate looks just where you tell it to so be aware if you specify a user folder through an Environmental Variable, when the user changes so does that path, and so will the keyrings.

Please provide your step with a copy and paste so we can take a look and please verify that you are using AutoMate 7 or just accidentally posted in this forum.

Looking forward to your reply.
