I have a task created to read a file and send a message to email and pager with info from the file. This works most of the time.

Using File Watcher to trigger when a file is saved to folder. There are a couple problems with this, when there are multiple files saved at the same time, not all of them are read, and the variable does not clear from file to file.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hi Laurie,

If your task is based on a file trigger, then I recommend that you update your task to ONLY manipulate the triggering file. It seems that you are looping against all of the files in the monitored folder and then manipulating them. This will cause a conflict if you drop multiple files into the folder. Adjust your task so that it references %amtrigger.filename%. This variable will populate with the file name and path of the file that caused the triggering event.
