Hello Matt,
It is compatible with Windows 7. Are you an administrator on the machine? You must be a local admin in order to install successfully. A domain admin will most likely still experience issues.

Hi Matt,
Are you running into any errors in the Windows Event Viewer (under application)?

Hi Matt,
Would it be possible to run the .exe as Administrator (by right clicking on the .exe)? Is the .exe you are running saved locally? I can confirm that I was able to install AutoMate 7 v7.1.3 on our Windows 7 SP1 64bit machine successfully.

no it is a msi. The file is automate7130.msi revision {466D4A98-141C-426C-831C-E03BBD843721} created 10/20/2010 I also downloaded automate_eval.exe file version 7.1.30 same created date. I can "run as administrator" with this eval but the issue remains.

when rt clicking and selecting "run as administrator" on the exe I have observed in taskmanager the installer open up msiexec.exe /v then another instance of it msiexec.exe -Embedding F3E1F1850FDEF4C2D3C9D95718DF157F C, then another calling out the temp path for setup.
