I am using Automate 7 with IE 10 & Windows 7. My automate script runs fine for some time and then suddenly it stops recognizing a IE window that has been launched in the script itself. I am using "Wait for Window" statement.
The odd thing is it works for 90% and suddenly we get this issue. I had to reboot the machine in order to get it working. I even tried to modify the "Wait for Window" statement thinking that something might be changing but it was not recognizing the window that was launched by the same script. Did anyone faced this issue?

I found out that the script was recignizing the window but was unable to check for a "Push Button" on the window. As I put the "Wait For Window" with check on objext for "Push Button".

Hello MR,
Just to clarify, did you get AutoMate to "push button"? If not, it may be best to use X Y coordinates to move the mouse, then follow that action with a "click" action to press the button.

Below is the WAIT FOR WINDOW statement that I was using basically to tell Automate script to wait until that particular window with that Particular push button is loaded.
The above statement always fails. So I changed the above step to " The problem is not with recognizing the window, the problem is it is not recognizing the "Pushbutton". Can you please let me know what might be the issue here?
Task Steps: (Right click, Select All, Copy to copy to the clipboard. Steps can then be pasted into the AutoMate Task Builder) Edited: 10/19/2015 at 04:45 PM by MR |

Hello,
Is there any other object you can have AutoMate wait for? Would it be possible to post a screenshot of the webpage in question?

I Don't think it will work for the other objects. because when I see this issue I tried to browse thru the objects on that web page to see whether the name might have changed but it was just showing "Client Area & Window Frame" objects. It was not showing any Buttons or Text boxes.

Is this a web page we can visit from here within our office? If so would you be able to share the site?
