I am running 7.1.0.3. I have attempted to build the job using compatibility mode.

If i check ignore server certificates i authenticate, but can not browse / download any files.

If i uncheck ignore server certificates i get "SSL is not available on this server" error

Does anyone have a solution to this?

Hi Ron,

Does FTPS work using a different FTP client software? It does not appear like it would, since that server is specifically stating that SSL is not available.

Do other connections such as SFTP or standard FTP succeed?

Compatibility mode uses the AutoMate 6 engine, which is not as current as the AutoMate 7 engine. The usage of compatibility mode is intended to ease transition from version 6 to version 7 without requiring all FTP steps to be rewritten.

I can log in and move files around with Filezilla without issue, I just cant get it to work in Automate.

My best guess is that there is a issue with the certificate that I can not seem to resolve.

I disabled compatibility mode and the error changed to "Data connection cannot be opened with this PROT setting (512)

Hi Ron,

Please try checking the box titled 'Encrypt data channel' on the Advanced Tab of the FTP Log On step in your task, and see if that helps.
