Hello, we have a task that strips email attachments and saves the files to a directory. We recently replaced the computer Automate was installed on. Since we replaced the computer, the Automate task is now replacing spaces in filenames with underscores, which causes another job to crash. For example, our filenames are like this: 123123 DoeJohn.wpd - now the task is renaming these files to: 123123_DoeJohn.wpd. Does anybody know how we can get it to not replace the space in the filename with underscores?

John,

Please export the task and attach the .aml file to your reply or copy/paste the task contents using the Attach Code button in your reply. We need to review the task in order to determine how the files are being renamed.

Hello John,

What version of AutoMate 6 are you running? You can check by selecting "help" then "about".

I am unable to reproduce the issue using your steps on version 6.2.8.0.

You may want to try using N:\DepPics\* as the destination location of the files. The wildcard should allow you to transfer the files as is.
