I am trying to read a record set from calling a Oracle stored procedure which has one input parm (string) and one output parm (cursor). The output parm is the problem. Automate's refresh button defines the returned data as INTERFACE data type. I have tried every other possible data type but they all either say that it is wrong type or wants precision information. The result set is always one variable length string that is huge. It is merge data to be used for a mail merge function in MS Word document which has 461 merge fields. How can I determine what automate needs to be defined on the stored procedure call function? When I select CURSOR as data type Automate tells me:
ADODB.Parameter:Arguments are of the wrong type, are out of acceptable range, or are in conflict with one another
Thanks, Rich

Hello Rich, I'm not too familiar with Oracle Stored Procedures, however, the forum post linked below might help. It references the same error you are encountering due to AM doubling specific characters in the AML. ------------------------- Thank you for choosing AutoMate.
