I noticed something odd today in the automate logs (AutoMate8TaskEvents) viewed via AMTA.

The log was Showing failure on several of my tasks. I opened the task(s) up and the common theme found was automate action step "STOP TASK" with Success was being used.

The status of the task is showing success but the log via AMTA is showing failure.

The other odd thing was the step # reported in the log was +1 of the STOP TASK step. For exampe if STOP TASK was on step 2 the log showed step 3.

Please try the attached code and see if you get the same results.

Current Env.

Automate v8.0.9.0 including hotfix AMTS.exe 8.0.9.501
Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard (64 bit)

Hi Nick,

Thank you for your post. This same behavior is not in v9. Are you able to install AutoMate 9 for testing purposes? You can get the latest version from within your account or from the AutoMate 9 Discussion and Technical support forum page.

Hi Liz, Upgraded to am v9 the log no longer shows the red failure... however the new calendar shows failure (red) when task is stopped with status of success.

Please advise.

Hi Nick,

Could you please provide a screen shot of this? Please include an export of the task as well. We just want to confirm we are on the same page but I believe we are able to see the same issue in the Calendar.
