Fabi,
I understand that you rebooted and AM8 is still not working. Correct ?
Or does it work after reboot and the problem is solved ?
In case it does not work :
Does it show anything in the AutoMate Management console ?
Is the atl file still present ?
It should be at C:\ProgramData\Network Automation\AutoMate 8\AutoMate8TaskFile.atl and contain all the configuration of tasks.

hi,

no, after rebooted AM8 is working.

we change the default settings for Config/task folder.

in m-console - automate shows - connecting to local task....

in system - option

the configuration is gone and the default settings are active

In C:\ProgramData\Network Automation\AutoMate 8\AutoMate8TaskFile.atl

is my complete config stored

our settings e.g.

Task

D:\Task\

default settings - loaded in case of failure

C:\ProgramData\Network Automation\AutoMate 8

Fabi,
it is difficult for me to help you precisely, because I don't run AutoMate 8. I use only BPA.
You say that after reboot it works. That means that the tray icon says "connected" ?
Then you change some System / options : which one, from what value to what value ?
Then you see the tray icon saying "connecting to local task...."
does it change after some time to "connected" or does it stay for ever "connecting" ?

When the problem occurs,in Automate Task Administor can be seen, "connected to localtasks"

However, all my task are gone.
If you open via System - options the SETTINGS,
default settings are loaded.
in the case, the service Automate 8 - can be to not have to rebooted.
Only the complet reboot, of the maschine helps.
After rebooting, automates connects to local Task and all Task got back.
the only message we got, i post on my first post.
Currently, we monitor with another one Automate Automate.
If we notice that the trigger function is no longer given, the first machine is restarted.

Hi Fabi,

Would it be possible to setup a GoToAssist session where we can take a closer look at this issue? If this is possible please send an email over to support@networkautomation.com with a list of your availability.
