Hi folks,

We're running the latest version of AutoMate 8 on a Windows 2003 Server. A few times we've found that AutoMate stops functioning as it should over weekends. On Monday mornings we find that no jobs have triggered as scheduled and that no error messages or emails have been sent from AutoMate. Manually triggering a job results in the Event Viewer stating " starting..." but then no further activity takes place.

Our Server Admins have said that the problem is that AutoMate is consuming all the paged kernel memory. We're able to resolve the issue by restarting AutoMate but have any users here experienced similar issues and if so what steps did you take towards a permanent resolution?

Regards,

Bob

(PS: This isn't AutoMate Server 8 that we're running)

Hello Bob,

Are you remote in to the workstation that has AutoMate running on? If so, how are you ending the session or you simply closing the window for the RDP session or logging off gracefully?

We have seen issues like this when customers closer the RDP session instead of logging off. What happens is that the when you close the RDP session by clicking on the top right corner x it leaves AutoMate in a disconnected state and issues like this occur.

You can see same issues in other forums like
