Adrian,

IsEmpty() and IsNull() cannot be used against AutoMate variables because they cannot be empty or null. These functions would be used against dataset fields from database columns.

I've been trying to test some functions and these functions seem to do nothing. I'm hoping I'm just executing them incorrectly or not understanding their purpose.

I have a short 2 line workflow.

1 > Create var and leave empty
2 > Display messagebox with functions

It doesn' tmatter if I populate the variable or not.

I've reviewed that documentation prior to posting. This documentation is clear around the use of the functions in BASIC, but not how or IF it even works within an AML directly. If someone can post some sample AML code where these functions work outside of a BASIC script call, that would be great.
