We have a Windows Server 2008 R2 VM running Automate BPA 8 (ver 8.0.1.10) which has the time zone set to Eastern Standard time. However, our Automate EventLog timestamps appear to be UTC. Is there a setting in Automate BPA 8 that affects the timestamp that has eluded me?

Thanks,
Jerry

Hi Jerry,

Are you referring to the reports? Where are you looking at the logs?

Sorry - I wasn't specific. The files to which I refer are located in C:\ProgramData\Network Automation\AutoMate BPA Agent 8\ folder. The BPA8TaskEvents.txt and BPA8SystemEvents.txt files in particular. On BPA 7, IIRC the timestamps were local to the machine. Did it switch to UTC for BPA 8?

We had been in the habit of going directly to those files to review items. In playing more with the Reports feature, I expect this is the preferred way of reviewing those items now?

Hi Jerry,

This was an intentional adjustment with the release of 8. Unfortunately, you will need to adjust the time and dates to reflect your time zone. We are looking to incorporate the log files into the reporting system at a later so conversion will occur automatically once that happens.
