The new Calendar option is really usefull but why does it not contain information about which agent the scheduled task/workflow runs on?

This would make shceduling workflows much easier since one could see at what times a certain agent is "free" to run a task.

Hi Daniel,

For tasks, the Agent is shown, but for Workflows there is not any guarantee that there would be a single agent, as the objects within a workflow can each be set to use a different agent.
I have raised your concern to the development team.

Thanks Rick,

Let me clarify what I was missing in the Calendar functions:

Since we have a few dedicated workstations that run scheduled workflows it would be great if one could select a specific agent in the Calendar view and see when there is a timeslot available to schedule yet another workflow.

Also one could see everything that is supposed to run on that agent and at what time it is scheduled to run.
This would make planning much easier since I guess most customers have but a few agents and need to make them do as much as possible.

In our case we have quite a few agents, but still the ones dedicated to scheduled workflows are hard to manage.

Hi Daniel,

I will submit an enhancement suggestion to allow the viewing of a specific agent's calendar - would that be useful?

Hi,

Just checking out the calendar function in BPA9, did this suggestion get added?
Can't seem to find such an option.
