Hi Carstein,

As a test, can you disable the backup network card and restart the agent service and let us know if the problem persists? Also, have you restarted teh workstation since the problem came about?

Hi
We have done this test with same result.
Right order of the networkcard is
1. Ordinary card
2. Backup card

Hi Carstein,

So the agent has yet to authenticate to the server? Are the firewalls on both the server and agent machines disabled?

Yes, the agent has not authenticate to the server yet.
The firewall is not diabled, but is't open for port 8500 in both servers

Hi
To resolve this problem we did:

Switch order of network cards on BPA server, BPA connected to the latest installed network card.

Disabled IPv6

Why do you release a new Version of BPA, when you have known critical bugs?
We can't use BPA 8 and still we can't use BPA 9!!
We must use unsupported BPA 7 until you fix the bugs.

Carstein,

The critical bugs that we have documented and referenced have been found post release.

I think Carstein meant :
How can version 9 be released while it still contains old bugs that were known in version 8, and were not resolved neither in version 8 nor in the brand new version 9 ?
