I have been trying to get the data out of the audit reports of who downloads our reports from our sharepoint page and it is a hack at best and not very reliable.

I am trying to figure out if I can use the sharepoint module in BPA 8 to get the data from the sharepoint site.  Specifically like the audit report we want the name of the report downloaded, the person downloading, (which is a ldap id) and the GMT of the download...

Before I go to much further, hopefully someone has done something like this.

Hi Sheridan,

Where is the report stored, is it stored in the library?

Not it is not from what I can tell.  We cant access the backend db.  We can call an api but I am not sure if this is compatible with Automate BPA 8.  Here is more information...

Hi Sheridan,

Automate uses the Client Object Model to communicate with SharePoint, When talking to SharePoint server automate acts like client, the API exposed by Microsoft does not allow Audit Reports to be run by client. So, the feature you are requested is not possible. I apologize for the inconvenience.
