Looking for someone to give me a little nudge here ...

I want to make a form that captures 2-3 pieces of information at once, and returns them into a useable variable.

I plan on expanding it out quite a bit ... but I need something to help get me started. I know how to use the Windows Dialogues well, but hoping to take it a bit different direction than the canned ones.

Thanks in advance

I've got my form all setup, and tested. It's working exactly the way I want. Thanks so much for the primer.

One other thing that I'm curious about, I'm populating a variable with SQL prior to generating my custom form ... is there a way to put have one of my variables reflected in the form?

I'm populating %TipsToDate% and right now I'm poping that up in a window before I generate my form, but I'd love to be able to just have it in the form as a piece of information.

Thanks again.

Jean, this totally met my needs. Now I'm working on a new similar project ... I want to query a database, then use the Returned Dataset to build a drop down in my custom form. I'm working on it now ... but if you have any pointers it would certainly speed it up.

Thanks.
