Hi - We're on BPA 8.  I would like to do the following:

  1. Remotely access and unlock a machine which is running Windows XP SP2.
  2. Once unlocked, bring up an application window and exit the application.
  3. Restart the machine and log back onto the machine.

Is there a way to do that? Do we have to have an Automate agent running on that machine?

Thank you for your help.  Have a great day!

I'm afraid Automate will not help in doing that.
But it seems there are tools/hacks that could help
I did not test them.
Googling "unlock remote system" displays among other ones two interesting posts
that explain a tool/method, and
that point to the download
As I told you I did not test them myself, and don't know if they work as advertised, nor if they don't create havoc.
All this is dating back to 2006-2009 and may be obsolete
But you might try and tell me the outcome.
