![]() Answer: I would use Input:Send Keystrokes to do this and send the keys {ALT}nf and then type the filename and press {ENTER}. This may eliminate your need for pauses however, the solution would not operate in the background. Currently there is no feature built-in to AutoMate to attach a file to a OneNote note with OneNote running the background. It may be possible to perform this action in the background using the AutoMate BASIC scripting action and the OneNote API. I have already figured out how to insert PDFs into OneNote using basic move mouse and click here functions, but this cannot be run in the background. Is there a task function for inserting files into OneNote, or into any application for that matter?
This would also solve the problem of having to add timed pauses after a file has been inserted. Thanks! |
