Is there a way to get the number of characters in a variable.

I am using gettext function to get the text from IE and save it to a variable.

Now i need to know the number of characters in that variable.

Is there any way we can do this.

Thanks,

Sarathi K

Hi Sarathi,

I'm not sure what version of AutoMate you are running so the attached code was created in AM6 but it will work in all versions. You would use the len() function to get the number of characters.

Task Steps: (Right click, Select All, Copy to copy to the clipboard. Steps can then be pasted into the AutoMate Task Builder)
