Hi everyone,

I'm pretty much green with the use of Automate. I found NetworkAutomation during my research for someone to create a custom program. What I'm looking for is to send by email files received on a FTP address... Any help available ???

Hi Rock,

It sounds like you'd want to start your task off with the FTP download process and then you can use a send email step and send the attachments. Here are some samples:

FTP - Download File by Date

(you do not need to download by date, you can download everything)

Save Email Attachments

Hi Liz,

I will looking to those examples... Is it better to have the task trigger every 5 minutes per example or by a ''Folder Watcher'' ?

Note : FTP address is on a remote server...

Hi Rock,

Thank you for your post. The trigger options are purely preference based. Both trigger types should accomplish what you are looking to do. You may want to use the schedule trigger if the directory you are wanting to download from isn't local or isn't accessible via full UNC path.
