HelloI have a task that calls a stored procedure which executes a series of edit checks. All checks run even when one fails. If one of the checks fails, I would like to exit the automate task with a warning. I can get the task to abort with a failure and continue to the next task but I need to be able to differentiate between a true failure and a warning when I check the reports the next morning. What's the best way to do this in automate?Lori

Lori,
I may not fully understand the subtlety between warning and failure, so forgive me if I got it wrong. Maybe on error of one step (which anyhow is set to continue on next step) you could set some variable to record that specific failure. At the end of the series of tests you could check that/those error variables to issue a warning. ------------------------- Jean Delfosse - Automate Beta Tester Win7 Pro 64 bits -Win XP Pro SP3 32 bits - AM8, AM7, BPA10, BPA9, BPA8, BPA7, AM6 Enterprise, AM4 ![]() |
