Hi,

About 3 weeks ago, i created a Get Email task, that is logging on to a shared mailbox located in Exchange Online, using EWS.

This has suddenly stopped working, and it's giving the following error:

Get email failed (Error : Value cannot be null. Parameter name: s)

I've verified that the username and password is correct, i've logged on the mailbox in question, it checks out using MS Connecitity Test for EWS etc.

The task gets all mail from Inbox, saves the attachment to a specified folder and then deletes the email. The inbox now has about 103 unread emails, and the attachments are not being saved.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated

Hi Jan,

Did the folder structure you are working with change at all?

Can you please confirm what version of AutoMate 9 you are running?

Hi,

We are using Automate 9.0.5.4

The folder structure hasn't changed. I have also recreated the task, but still getting the same error.

What i did notice now is that it actually processes emails, but it's leaving about 140 or so untouched. These are emails with PDF attachments, that haven't been processed since Tuesday. I checked the delete items folder and it contains emails from today and yesterday.

Seems like it's having problems processing certain emails?

Hi Jan,

Would it be possible to confirm that all emails that have .pdf attachments have not been processed?

Are there any other similarities?

Hi,

Sorry for the VERY late reply.

This problem still continues to plague us.

What happens is that the majority of incoming emails with PDF attachments are processed fine, except for some certain emails, which seems to be coming from the same email address.

Get email failed (Error : Value cannot be null. Parameter name: s)

The error logs provided give little to no valuable information.

As a side note...is there any possibility to remove the attachment in an email and replace it with a .txt etc by using automate?

Hi Jan,

Is there anything special about the emails in question?

Is it possible to post your task?

Are you looking to convert the .pdf to a .txt file and send the email?
