Hello everyone,

my department uses BPA since a couple years. Unfortunately the responsible of our BPA tool left and now I am the new Service manager, but I am new and need some help.

We have a security issue because my predecessor never updated the Database, because of that my chef ordered a managed database, which is on a new server. I made a Buckup and restored it on the new Database Schema (also named BPA). Then I tried to change the connection (Options -> Server Settings -> Data Store -> Configure) there I put following information:

username of database schema

passwort of database schema

unfortunately the connection always fails when pressing "Test connection". All Ports are open to communication between both Server. Also the User have read/write rights.

I hope you can help me to see where my Problem is.

PS: I don't know if it's relevant, but my old SQL Server was 32bit and my new Server is 64 bit.

Thank you,
