Hi,

My apologies in advance. I am very new to this platform and coding language.  I was able to have automate map a network drive, but how do I get the connection to disconnect after the task is completed.

Automate version: 9.0.4.5

Thanks,

Hi Keith,

You can add another "Map Drive" action but this time with the option set to Disconnect at the end of your task.

Let us know if that works for you.

Hi Keith,

I am not sure I understand your request, can you elaborate on what you are attempting to accomplish?

Hi Ricardo,

The below is what I am trying to do as my first attempt at scripting...

******************************

Step 1: map to network drive

Step 2: go to a specific folder

Step 3: extract all the files from last 7 days from the source folder

Step 4: drop those file into a specific folder if and only if the file does not exist on the destination folder

Step 5: disconnect from the mapped network drive.

******************************

thanks,

Keith

Hi Keith,

I attached a sample task for you that does what your asking.  You will need to change all the folder paths in the task.

[Main](Étape 4) Commande  "AMIF" is not recognised

***************

Hi AUTOMATE,

When the compiler gets to the above step, an error message is generated as follows:

[Main](Étape 4) "AMIF" is not recognised.

I am currently using Automate version: 9.0.4.5

Windows 7 Enterprise & SP1

Thanks,

Keith
