I currently have a task to archive based on the date a file was added.

%DateAdd( "yyyy", -5, CStr( Now() ))%

I would like to archive based on the date a file was updated.

What is the best method to achive this?

Hello,

Would it be possible to elaborate on when how the file will be added?

Are you archiving the file based on the date it was added to a folder or the last time it was modified?

I am currently archiving based on the date the file was added; however, I would like to archive based on the date it was last updated.

Following is the current statement that I have:
%DateAdd( "yyyy", -5, CStr( Now() ))%

What do I need to change to make this statement based on the date the file was last updated?

Hello,

I would suggest you run a "Get File Information" action to pull the "LastWriteTime" of that file. You can then process it accordingly.
