Using WinSCP I have connected to a remote TIBCO MFT ftp site using TLS/SSL Explicit encryption. I can see it has a top level folder "SMPFZXDC-PAT" that I should be able to upload a file to. I can use the command "CWD /SMPFZXDC-PAT/" and it changes just fine from the terminal.

/$ CWD /SMPFZXDC-PAT/

250 CWD command successful.

From Automate, using the same credentials, I see this logged:

6/8/2017 4:27:29 PM : Command : PWD

6/8/2017 4:27:29 PM : Response: 257 "/" is current directory.

6/8/2017 4:27:34 PM : Command : CWD /SMPFZXDC-PAT/

6/8/2017 4:27:34 PM : Response: 550 /SMPFZXDC-PAT/: A file or directory in the path name does not exist.

I have used both the regular ftp change_folder and the advanced ftp change_folder commands and see no difference in behavior.

<AMFTP ACTIVITY="advanced" FTPCOMMAND="change_folder" PARAMETER="/SMPFZXDC-PAT/" />

Thanks in advance for any ideas or assistance.

Hello,

Would it be possible to set-up a GoToAssist session where we can take a closer look at this issue? If this is possible please send an email over to AutoMate.Support@helpsystems.com with a list of your availability.
