We have a newely mounted server in which one of our automate agent is installed. BPA was able to unlock rest of the machines. But in this server BPA was unable to unlock the machine when it is in locked state.

Enable software SAS is enabled. Parameters are similar to the machines. But no luck.

We use the machines in VNC. When unlocking in win 7 machines we can see an amlogon.aml file running in those.

But in this server this itself is not running. Please assist us in getting this fixed.

Hello Sarathi,

Does your company employ a security screen when logging onto the server?

I am attaching the logon settings document to assist you in configuring the auto logon.

We may need to have you upgrade to a higher version as the auto logon function has been greatly improved.

Hello Alex,

Answers for the attached Text Document.

1. Yes UAC is enabled

2. SAS is selected

3. Sending AMBPA32.exe does the work of CTRL+ALT+DEL

4.Tried with Domain and without Domain, but no luck.

5.No security Policy and no security window.

6. Yes we use RealVNC for checking.

Yes we are in the process of upgrading to BPA 10 but it will take us time for testing and migration, so this needs to be done currently.

Hello Sarathi,

Unfortunately we cannot troubleshoot from version 903, we would need to upgrade you to 905. This is due to the logon feature being more stable in the 905 version.

Please open a ticket with us and reference this forum thread so that I may send you the instructions as well as the download path for the 905 download.
