I have an agent that was recently removed and re-added to my BPA Server.

This agent is part of an agent group.

None of the tasks that are executing on the agent group and actually running on this specific agent. The log messages show that the task is started and completed successfully on the agent -- but no work is actually being done on this agent.

I have modified the Workflow to run the tasks on the single agent, instead of the agent group, and still no work is done -- but everything is reported as completing successfully.


If I go to the Repository and select the same task for manual execution on the agent then work is actually done and the task runs as expected.


So right now I am at a loss as to how I can get this agent back to doing work from the automated schedules that we have established for the workflow executions.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Richard,

What version of BPA9 are you running? When you mention that an agent was "recently removed and re-add", does that mean it was re deployed? If so, was it a local agent?

Local agent will need a reinstallation instead of redeployment. If the issue is occurring with a local agent, please reinstall the local agent and let us know your results.
