On the server we have BPA installed to there seems to be a growing error log:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10_50.BPASERVER9\MSSQL\Log

This is taking up disk space on the server and causing problems.

I have managed this so far by restarting the server occasionally.

This cuts the log to a ERRORLOG.1 which is then moved off the server.

But not ideal.

Any ideas how to stop this?

Errors on the server seem to generally be of the kind:

2016-10-05 22:19:00.48 spid54      Error: 1105, Severity: 17, State: 2.
2016-10-05 22:19:00.48 spid54      Could not allocate space for object 'dbo.executionevents'.'PK__executio__3214EC2748CFD27E' in database 'BPA' because the 'PRIMARY' filegroup is full. Create disk space by deleting unneeded files, dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup.

I've tried clearing own the events log in the hope this would help.

But no effect.

Hi Stuart,

Would it be possible to set-up a GoToAssist session where we can take a closer look at this issue? If this is possible please send an email over to AutoMate.Support@helpsystems.com with a list of your availability.
