Why are almost all of the samples in Automate 9.0.5.4 password protected or at least give the error message that they are?

Hello Bob,
None of our sample tasks are password protected. The reason you are receiving this message is due to path of the AML task in question is not correct. Have you at any time restored or re-imported the sample tasks? Please do the following: 1 Select a sample task in question wherein the error message is being generated. 2 Right-click on the task and select Properties. 3 Double-click the Details icon. 4 Verify that the path displayed in the 'Location' field is correct (mostly likely it is not), re-map the path to the sample AML task based on the name displayed in the 'Name' field above. -The default directory for AutoMate 9 sample tasks is: C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoMate 9\Samples 5 Select Apply in the bottom right. 6 Attempt to edit the task once more. ------------------------- ![]() Valentineo McGowan | Technical Consultant AutoMate | Division of HelpSystems HelpSystems, LLC | T: +1 213.738.6966 | F: +1.213.738.7665 |
