Minor issue as I can delete it myself but just to let you know that the BPA beta 2 uninstall doesn't remove the database tables (it says it will do on the uninstall dialog)

Hello James,

BPA Server has never removed the tables or the database.
Did you see a prompt for this upon uninstall?
This would create many issues if a BPA database were deleted just because the software was removed from a workstation/server.

It didn't remove the database (or the tables). The option was greyed out. This appears to be related to the other issue I raised with the install not working (Agent not working). Ther have been other reports of this a few weeks ago on this forum

Hello James,

Upon an uninstall of BPA Server 7, 8, 9 or 10, it is has never been designed to remove the database(s) or the tables within the database(s).
I am not sure what this would have to do with installing the product?

Hi Valentineo,

Please see attached screenshot, the text says 'This will remove all data from the database as well as remove the database itself'

Regards,

James

James,
I always interpreted that the way you do.
But I never attempted to do it, as I always wanted to keep the previous database.

James,

That option is grayed out so that it cannot be selected. In previous versions, that option was enabled and users were inadvertently removing their database and therefore losing all of their tasks and workflows.

Thanks, wouldn't it make more sense to remove it completely rather than gray it out? It looks like others have also been confused by this.
