The connection string from BPA 9 was corrupted upon importing the task into BPA 10.The imported Host Connection String:AM2a0nLdIkXqrJSSd10gxeusgZJ9HS1F5iyekn2dLQXnbIVSYh03ReMslpJynSVF6uyVEnLdIIX4bJZSc10lhevskJJynTdF4mySEncdJQX/LJySf102xe1skhJ1XSWF72yTknNdIkXs7JJSdh03ReYslpJzXSHF/yyaEnWdJMXrrJYSdx02xe1skhJ1XSWF66yVEnddMgXq7JUSct0ihe4sgBJ6XSDF66ySEnQdJUXqLIbSep0gxe/sk5Jy3SPF6iyQkmZdK8XsrJdSdZ02xeIsklJzHSDF9y0aMEWhen "Edit Connection" is pressed, no defaults appear.  If I reset to Oracle provider and give server, user, and pass, the connection works and the query runs. This is a second post as I did not see the first post in the forum.

Hi Phil,

Can you please post your step from BPA Server 9 so that we can test your issue internally?

Here is a sample.  The connection string is encrypted in the export from BPA9 which makes sense since there is a password in the string.looks like BPA10 is just importing the string without decoding it.There are several SQL tasks in this pkg and they all have an encrypted connection string.Never had an issue importing them into BPA9.Phil
